Thermal Front Variability during The El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in The Banda Sea Using Remotely Sensed Data

The Banda Sea is one of the routes global ocean currents that move from Pacific Ocean to Indian Ocean. This flow known as Indonesian Through Flow (ITF). an area where warm and cold water masses meet, so it has potential for a thermal front. study aims understand variability front in during El Nino Southern Oscillation period. Index (SOI) sea surface temperature (SST) data 2010, 2012 2015 were used this study. SOI was obtained http://www.bom.gov.au SST http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov. processed using ArcGIS 10.4 software Ms. Office 2013. results showed La Nina period occurs July - December Normal 2012, May October 2015. In general, Nina, mean higher values than other periods. On hand, highest Niño (10584), followed by (7544) lowest Niña (5961), respectively.
